By completing your registration for our class you are agreeing to the following:
I understand that classes offered through this platform are part of a learning community, not a group therapy program. We recommend that all participants attend individual therapy on a regular basis as needed and consider our classes and workshops as an additional resource for personal growth and development.
I understand that I will be expected to attend class, participate as I am comfortable, and commit to practicing the skills I'm learning in between classes.
I further understand and agree that if I have any issues, questions or concerns, I will reach out to the instructor. We are committed to making sure you are fully satisfied with the course and this depends on having clear communication from the start.
I have checked my internet, microphone and camera and am 100% confident I will be able to access the course from a private room each week. I will not allow any other people to listen in on the class or otherwise have access. I understand the importance of respecting each person's privacy and the importance of creating a safe space for everyone.
What if I’m unhappy with my purchase?
We ask that you pause here, take a breath and ask yourself what your level of commitment is. To do this, reflect on questions like these:
- Are you ready to take a concrete step toward having a life worth living?
- Can you do what it takes to find the time to fully participate?
- Are you open to support and accountability? What does that look like to you?
Take another few breaths and make sure you are committed to giving the course your full effort.
- Plan to try your hardest for the entire class.
- Put the class on your calendar.
- Tell a friend or safe support that you are committing to following through with this personal development goal.
- Plan to look for situations in your daily life to practice the DBT skills you'll be learning.
You can also expect to be part of a peer group that supports one another through both presence and accountability.
If, after .....
- You complete the FIRST class session
AND
- You schedule a time to discuss your concerns with the instructor
You decide the class is not a fit for your needs, we will gladly refund the remainder of the course minus a $50 processing fee.
